The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

They appear to have changed the jingle from "international radio one" to just "national radio one". Why for art this? Have they ceased broadcasting overseas?

Kendra, can you shed any light on the subject?

Regards

Bawbag.

I thought this was going to be another, albeit slightly redundant, Harry Potter thread for a minute..............

I'm not sure I caught the official reason for Moyles venturing to NYC, could that be anything to do with it?

it's not kaputt. i was just listening to it this weekend. sirius is still trying to merge with xm, but that's not affecting programming yet.

It was mentioned this morning that you can still listen via Sirius, don't know why the jingles would change though.

At the risk of sounding extremely geeky:

I think the reason some of them don't say 'International Radio 1' is because they've started using some of the imaging from the 2005 era of the show again. This was obviously before Radio 1 was introduced onto Sirius.

I guess the reason why they've started reusing these is because it gives them a wider variety of beds to use in the ever increasing ramble sections of the show.

I did hear one jingle with National, but pretty sure all the others were international.

Where would be a good place to visit in USA then Kendra?

chicago's great. i can see going to new york, it'd be like going to britain and not going to london. (when i did that last time, people looked at me like i was crazy.) i'm also a big fan of northern califronia, but then again i was born and raised here.

I would love to go back to Chicago, and may do just that next year, but would be interested in going somewhere else.
Not been to New York, so thats high on my list, not overly interested in Florida TBH, when I was younger really wanted to cross the golden gate bridge, so SF is a possibility.

Sirius is great! I listen in the car all the time (my kids hate me for it ;))...As far as I know, there was never an interuption...although, I didn't listen to it while Chris was away, used the time to catch up on local stuff - and my local station is VERY local! (high school sports results anyone?!)
