(I did enjoy the first book, I just thought that device was annoying and lazy)

Totally agree.

Keep an open mind, he really did have to stay to a rough plan on the first book, I hope the next one will be more stream of Conscientious type thing as he hasn't got such a defined criteria in the title. Don't most Authors write more as they do more books ?

I did find the whole tricks to fill the book annoying as well, and the book was interesting in part, but not what I expected, it didn't engage you in the subject very well.

Lets hope he doesn't go on a reality Tv show before the 2nd book is released so he can spend more pages talking about that than his whole career on radio one.

again!

Thought he left loads out he could have gone into detail some of the stuff from the early morning slot and the saturday shows.
He could have explained the whole thing with john culshaw and robbie williams fake or not.and his honest oppinion of when richard blackwood stood in for him.

not bull shit about paul daniels and gillian mckeith.
After all how many people bought the book just cos it's by that fat bloke off of celebrity X factor

He certainly seems to know how to get a non-commital blurb out of his celeb pals. On the cover of the first book, Simon Cowell said, "You will love this book." Not, "I loved this book" or "This book is great" but "You will love this book." As in, "The likes of you will love this book. Me? Mneh."

I thought it was alright. Charging £16.99 for a 50,000 word book is pretty low, though.
