Yeah not working for me either. Says there are severe technical problems at the top of the player. Though it has said there have been problems for ages :( Hope they get it fixed soon!

Bloody hell!!!, i just sat for half an hour listening to what i thought was today's show, i only realised it was last weeks when the 7:30 news started to sound really familiar.

Yeh, that message about technical problems has been there for ages now, at least a few months, but I've never had any actual problems because of it :( I want to listen to today's show!!! It's not fair!! *stomps feet*

It was not working this morning

Tried to listen to the show while at work but the "listen to radio 1 now" was not working

Hopefully it gets sorted as missed most of this mornings show

Thank god its not just me with the problem, not good though - last show for a while, LA is the only way I listen really :(, dont get to listen to the show much in the morning.

We should contact the BBC and tell them to get their act together! ... Please :)

(Nothing like a technical problem to bring me back to cm.net lol)

I've been looking at the date on listen again thinking it was all great and well, I'm starting to wonder if this is Zenon's wicked sense of humour cos its exactly the same as last week, I've tried the sound requests page too, clicked on the direct link.

I dunno about you Jimmy but it must take a right lemon to run that listen again thing right now. Its ALWAYS having problems in my experiences.

I wonder, is this something to do with the entire service about to be switched to the all media integrated BBC iPlayer next week?

Ooh is that next week? Can't wait. I really hope they make a better stab at this than 4oDear - the 'on demand' service from Channel 4 - As soon as you download this you realise that it is indeed a 'Beta' - (geek speak for test version apparently), and whilst it all went swimmingly at first I got a bit peeved when I paid 99p for an episode of Nathan Barley, it didnt work cos of my firewall or something.

I hope to expect Beta err better from the Beeb and that if fish heads is right then we will see a higher quality Listen Again service intertwined with the 'i' thing as I've heard people complain about the audio quality of it on here before, they have a point.

To be fair 4oD is a great service for the 7 day catch up stuff. The archive stuff is also a really good selection, but you usually find it elsewhere on the net for free (or if you have Virgin tv, on there for nowt!)

If I were to download it again I'd probably have to switch off my anti-virus software. It is good and everything despite. I think they should build on that now that the Beeb are launching their stuff.

Have any of you tried contacting the Radio 1 web team? They may not have noticed the problem.

Now Console that's far too simple for them, they'd rather hassle you!

By asking silly questions but if you enjoy that then I guess they weren't hassling you

It's working now :D And it's been updated to reflect the fact that the show now starts at 7.00am rather han 6.55am, so there's no longer the last 5 minutes of early breakfast at the start!

I was hoping to be the first back to report this but bex has beat me lol, I sent a feedback form to R1 online and have just recieved this email back, I'm thinking that the 'We didn't realise this problem until you reported it to us, so thank you' was aimed at more people that may have reported it but heres the email
Hello,

On Friday, the building that houses the Radio Player servers in Kent
flooded, and there was a power outtage that stopped the Chris Moyles
show being recorded. We didn't realise this problem until you reported
it to us, so thank you.

We have now manualy restored Friday's show, and you can now listen
online in the usual way. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

Radio 1 Webteam

edit: Ah, just read on the other thread that 1) the email was sent to many, not just me :( and 2) that there is a problem still and it jumps a bit, oh well still got a bit of it

good news also is that they've got rid of the 5 mins to 7 bit thing being on LA

edit2: Crickey, it really is mucked up, chopping in a couple of places lol, not sure if it reverts back to previous friday's or not :?
