So my day will be upside down, with no enjoyable radio in the morning, and a good laugh in the late afternoons. I like the Drive show when JK and Joel are doing it.

Good, that bodes well for the breakfast shift then.

Fair point. I normally don't get in the office until about 9.45 and cause I'm in Ireland I can only listen on the net. I used to wait unitl Scotts or Zanes show to listen again to Moyles but now I listen over Edith. Her show sounds like a ticking over car these days.

My boss has no love for Jo Whiley and Edith Bowman. He refers to them as 'screeching hooers', but you see him chortling when Moyles is on.

As for Scott Mills doing the breakfast show next week, I think I'll be tuning in to Century or Key 103. Won't be the same without Chris and the team and Mill's humour is a little too contrived for me.

I'm the other way around, a while back his show still had some spontenaiety and freshness to it, lately it seems so stale and forced. I quite like Chappers, but Laura is simply awful on air. I'm sure he'll be great on breakfast though (she said optimistically).

Just can't listen to Mills, I find it too obvious that most of his stuff is heavily scripted. I think he's not a bad DJ but just think no one can really do a good job filling Moyles' shoes. I would like to see Jo Whiley doing breakfast as at least it would be totally different and a million miles away from Moyles. Better to have a complete break from Moyles, rather than have a second rate Moyles in the shape of Mills inflicted on me

Whats gonna happen here is Viv, you are gonna stick up for Mills, others are going to say he is crap, you are gonna get worked up, it will end up with another big argument about nothing.

Can we not just say that you like him, others don't - end of story? There isn't a right or wrong, just different tastes.

er..... I wasn't trying to have an argument, foots... I was sitting here quite peacefully and failing to get worked up... but, OK, I'll agree others have different tastes no problem this morning :-)
