More details have emerged about 'The Difficult Second Book', a follow-up to 'The Gospel ...' (which was apparently the 39th bestselling book of 2006 in the UK).

It's "another honest account of the life and times of the ever more popular DJ featuring more of the musings and anecdotes that could only come from the mind of Moyles".

Published by Ebury Press, the new book will give readers a chance to find out why Chris feels EastEnders is a strange parallel universe where you really wouldn’t want to live. And why he cannot even go on a dream holiday with his girlfriend without being stalked by his mate from the local pub.

Along the way readers will find out more about the behind the scenes goings on at Radio 1, his (rare) showbiz nights out and more about the secret celebrity neighbourhood where he lives. You’ll also learn why he is obsessive about washing up and why he lies to the pizza deliveryman on a regular basis.

Miranda West, acting Editorial Director at Ebury Press, says: ‘Ebury are thrilled to be working with Chris again. His first book set the bar high but Chris knows exactly what his fans like and we are sure his second book will be another bestseller.

His profile just keeps getting higher and higher with a record number of listeners to his Breakfast Show, he has a natural ability to connect with a massive cross-section of people on air and he effortlessly transfers this to the page.’

Chris added “I thought the title was a bit of a gag at first but to be honest it has been bloody hard work getting this done. Between the radio show, X-Box and the pub I have barely had a moment to get it finished. Still I am pretty confident we are looking at another masterpiece in waiting.”

Chris Moyles: The Difficult Second Book will be published by Ebury Press on 4th October 2007.

It was enjoyable, undemanding and entertaining for the very short time it took to read it - I'm not sure it was amazing.

I believe Console was quoting an episode of Scrubs, where that is purposefully used as a crap example of a double entendre
