Well, excluding presents, then the last thing I really got for free was the XBox that, as many of you probably know by now, I won by singing.

My last thing was shampoo, I think, via e-mail... unfortunately, this has now only had to my vast volume of "junk pals" who won't leave me alone :-) All my own fault, tho'.

I used to be on the Gunniess mailing list, and they used to send out some quality stuff, like Christmas trees, Mouth Organs, 4 packs of the black stuff etc...

Best Freebie I got was Prob my Company Car

I get free eye tests, work pay for them. They don't pay for my glasses though, boo.

Actually I've had lots of free second hand stuff lately: two-piece suite, double bed, TV and stand, hoover, tea towels and a chest of drawers. It's what you need when you first buy a house.

Don't you have to pay the tax on that though?

I take it you were the ONLY ONE in the competition :-)

Hilarious, but no, although I may have been the only one that actually sung anything.

How can you deduce that with no knowledge of his voice, purely from his message board posts (at least one of which I'm fairly sure has said that he's quite good at singing.)

Yes and no - I pay the tax, but I also get a fuel allowance from the company, which means I pay a grand total of 38p a month for the car.
(I'm used to paying for Fuel myself before I got a company car, so I don't count that)

I won a Simply Red video once and my luck has been much the same ever since; I've not won anything else.

I've got those in the past as well... the fact that they give out so little is pathetic. I was expecting a big, BUMPER pack, and hardly any showed up :-(

Last free thing I got, (not counting the 'acquired' chocolate biccies that were given to the school kitchens that we shared at work) was a telly.
Someone was giving it away on freecycle, so I sent an e-mail and got it! :D
You can get pretty much anything from that site, my partner gave away her multi-gym cus it was taking up too much room recently!

As Walter mentioned in his last post I can highly reccomend freecycle, it's great-especially if you live in or near a wealthy area! They get rid of some great stuff!

As for me the last thing I got was one of those new Gillete Fusion M razors in the post-fantastic but £19 in Tescos for 8 new blades! Bloody daylight robbery........

Ahh - I second this complaint - someone nicked my Mach 3 so I got one of those Fusion things, it was pennies in Sainsburys - THEN I noticed how much the blades were!

Not much choice really though, as all blades are dear......... As for shaving with a disposable, forget it, it'd look like Freddie Kruger at been let loose on my face!
