A bit of a random one, but: What makes you cry, and not necessarily because of sadness ? It can be for happy reasons too! :-)

** Music makes me cry, esp. ballads in particular. I love ballads.
** Seeing nice things happen to friends can make me cry (in a good sense!). HA.

A good sob, I think, can be a good thing :-)

Onions generally bring a tear to my eye, but if I remember to use the teaspoon trick, I don't have to worry about it.

Depends on the time of the month; some days anything at all. I always cry when people die on TV too. I know that's stupid cos it's not real, but I think that's kind of the point - I can have a good cathartic cry without it actually meaning anything.

The teaspoon trick?

I'm bad for crying in films. It's no good for my (ahem) masculine image.

it doesn't.

right now my eyes can't stop watering. last night people kept telling me to stop crying or asking if something was wrong. i told a seattle mariners fan to f-off. i also told their right fielder, jose guillen, that he looked like steve urkel. guillen flipped me off.

Or try simply avoiding onions altogether :-) What on earth is the "teaspoon trick" btw, cons?

O, I found the explanation... you suck on a spoon whilst dealing with the onions. Never heard anything so ridiculous... anyhow, I don't know if it would be a spoon I would choose necessarily.

It was largely a joke (like this thread); I don't like onions and therefore don't really spend a lot of time (zero time infact) chopping them.
