Just mentioned on the show that people don't like the TV theme spaced out dave Hum thing.

Aled commented that this forum doesn't like it.

I do.

What do people think, lets have a vote, and see whether Aled is right

Its a personal favourite feature of mine. Aled keeps telling Chris that we dislike the show, which to be honest is nonsense.

Someone suggested that it might to the benifit of the show if they don't have the best relationship with us, I am beginning to believe that. (Although I don't understand it.)

Yea, Aled, do you actually read these boards???? If we hated the show, do you think we'd still be on here????

Does Aled actually tell Moyles that we hate the show? I've never heard him say (though I only get to hear the first hour of the show normally, very rarely do I get to listen to Ramble.)

I don't think he said that we hate the show, I think his exact words, when talking about the rambley bit, were 'Do you know who doesn't like it, and this'll surprise you...the forums. chrismoyles.net'.

So apparently we don't like it as a whole?

Aye, but he has said that several times before Console.

It all supports the theory that all we do is complain about the show.

I know I've said it before, but I'm going to say it again anyway. I believe that the potential for material in having an unofficial fan site that actually doesn't like you is immense, I think Moyles recognises that and that's why he uses it; he knows we don't all hate him but he's not silly by any stretch.

It's the part of the show I look forward to most. Never fails to have me in stitches. One thing I'd love to see (and this was suggested a few weeks ago but never implemented) is a video of Dave doing the ramble. I'm curious as to the expressions on his face the team spoke of.

I like the echo and TV ramble, but it is NOT surreal in my opinion. The only bit I dislike of that entire segment is the hyperbole the team put behind it. If Chris genuinely feels that it is the most surreal piece of radio he has ever heard, then I must question whether he ever listens to radio at all, except for his own show.

Maybe I'm just elitist though because I have the entire collection of Chris Morris's "Blue Jam" that used to be on Radio One. But even then, you'd think Moyles has heard that since a) he likes The Day Today (same guy heading both) and b) there was a couple of skits based solely around Chris during a later series.

Haha well if the comments on Aled are well-founded then theres only one thing for it....

Bring back Ghostly Ramble!

But I equally love the TV themes phase, and as I said before, Dave's humming is so brilliant, its the innocense in his voice..where in the universe could he be in this midst of surreality....

Mr Lizard!

Blue Jam was the most F**ked up and hilarious piece of radio I've ever heard.
The TV series 'Jam' was very good too
