I don't read enough, and I wish I did. When I do read its usually when Mrs Zoot is watching something on the telly I don't like.
For the reason it takes me a week or two to get through a decent sized book, maybe longer.
My Favourite book is War of the Worlds by H G Wells. I also love Pratchet. I also read alot of Graphic Novels
I'm re-reading the LOTR Trilogy at the moment, just coming to the end of the first book. I have about 4 books lined up for after including the Slash biography.
I'd recommend reading 'Bone', by Jeff Smith. You can get the complete collection now.

1. Read quite often. I don't actually have a favourite author - I keep jumping about trying all different stuff . I like "Nora Roberts" stuff, because her books deal with paranormal-type things, which I like.
2. It depends on how interesting a book is as to how long it will take.... if something pulls me in, then I may read it in one night. Otherwise, it may take weeks.

Bit dusty in here, I bought Galloways, and Paul McKenna after his appearence on Moyles. Then theres the Gospel, other than that, theres this old book of 1001 one and two liner gags. Then theres the pocket sized c o ckney rhyming slang. But they just gather dust.

Somewhere between three days and two weeks depending on the length of the book.

I don't have a clear favourite, but it's probably 'Atlantis' by David Gibbins.

'Guards!, Guards!' by Terry Prachett

Well, the Discworld series is great, the Atlantis book above is brilliant, and I also think the Manifold Series is great, but it's more of a sci-fi series.

I am always reading a book - I get thru one a fortnight or so, depending on how busy work is and how engrossing the book in question turns out to be.

My favourite book of all time is To Kill A Mockingbird, closely followed by The Dice Man. My favourite nonfiction book is probably Burlesque/Fetish And The Art of the Teese by Dita Von Teese - I look at that most days.

At the moment I'm reading Catch 22, but I'm struggling to get into it. I also have a book at home about the history of stripping which I plan to start any day now. I can read a novel and a nonfiction book simultaneously, but not two novels.

What would I recommend...depends on the person. I'd recommend my two faves named above to anyone, but also I love Nick Hornby's first three novels, David Baddiel's first two, and the work of Angela Carter.

I read a lot. I mean really, a lot. I have two or three books on the go at any one time, fiction and non-fiction, and I tend to measure the time it takes to read a book in hours than days. I can't possibly say what my favourite book of all time is as there are really too many, but I discovered Jane Austen when I was eight and have never been without a copy of her Collected Works since. I also have a long term affinity with Howard Spring's novels and also RF Delderfield, though I haven't loved everything of his. But really, I'll read anything and I'm not a literary snob either. Currently I am reading Travels with Boogie (again) by Mark Wallington and I have Pennine Walkies (again) waiting in the wings for when I finish that. I'm reading a couple of separate biographies of TE Lawrence at the moment too - I read one a few weeks back and then another, and there are so many discrepencies in how people have interpreted his life that I want to read everything I can find on the subject now. I read the Bible every day, also I read to Baby Yudster, children's books (we are loving The Gruffalo still) and I also read Dickens and Austen to him, he seems to like it.

I can't really recommend any fiction, as I'll try anything - so I suppose I recommend you do the same! Non-fiction, a book I haven't read for ages has just popped into my head - Some Other Rainbow by John McCarthy. That was a good read.

I read every day and finished LA Confidential last night. I bought The Innocent today (from Waterstones.. ahem) and that will probably take me about a week.

Depends, I have started to read "The adventure of English" by Melvyn Bragg, but its taking ages - is interesting, but hasn't 'grabbed' me yet, but sometimes I'll read a book within a few days if it's 'unputdownable'

I must admit I like Dickens,(I'm not posh or owt! ), and lurve Robert Rankin books (SOOOO funny!) but My favourite is A confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole

I read a lot when i'm waiting for folk at work - sometimes hours have to get killed, a good book does that quite well.

How long a book takes me to read depends on how easy it is to read, how much I enjoy it and how long it is. Also, how much time I have.

I am currently reading a book about The Cold War. Mum bought me it for my birthday thinking it was a fiction, but its all fact. The whole Cold War thing is quite facinating - I had no idea how close our parents came to being annhialated and how close we all came to never being born.

My fav of all time... I dunno - I only really started reading again a couple of years ago and since then I have been making my way through all the popular ones. I enjoyed the Harry Potter books (Cheers Yuds) and the Dan Brown books. Lord of the Rings was excellent and I keep meaning to getting round to reading The Hobbit, but I keep forgetting about it.

I still say that "The Inheritors" by William Golding is a good read as long as you have the patience for it.

I like reading, most books I tend to read in a day or two.

The last book I read was Cecila Ahern (sp) A place called here, which embarrasingly is number 1 paperpack, but a good read, basic premise is that a parrallel land exists where all the things that get lost go, including people. I have read her previous books and they are all engaging.

My favorite book / books are Lee Child I think, any thing by him.

I like books, they are a great place to hide
