Yesterday R2 were briefly covering the topic of working from home - v - working in an office.

It seems that people in general find they can only do the "home-based" thing for so long, MAINLY because of a lack of social interaction. A 2-year period seemed to be the maximum for most people.

Thus, I was wondering what some of you thought of this subject? Would you be only too happy not to have to, for example, commute? Or have a boss watch over you?

I was thinking about this yesterday afternoon, and came to the following conclusion:-

Personally, I would only be able to be home-based if ONE other person was present, but no more than one, and if a) there was a definite purpose to the situation b) I was genuinely needed.

Before this turns into a big SMARTIES thread, the title made sense to me as follows:-

1. At the bottom of a tube of smarties is a LETTER, anything from a - z. So you could get anything.
2. Everyone has a different point of view, so it can be anything basically from a - z.
3. Thinks "genius title of the day".
4. Posts it.

The title was mainly to amuse me, and attract the masses! It wasn't meant to be latched onto and taken literally ! I spent ages thinking about this topic as well! I think it may be the longest piece I've done, and now it's descended into chaos

I like Smarties but still find blue ones strange - blame my age. The minstrel wannabe's should be destroyed

I hate working from home because in my experience when I work from home I can never go home from work.

I dislike Smarties. Minstrels are ok, Cadbury's Shots are better. I'm actually a bit off chocolate at the moment. Someone call an ambulance.
