Slight correction, she knows her Football/Chelski, Cricket, Tennis and maybe Golf. Anything else she doesn't seem all that clued up to me.

I am liking Carrie a lot more than I used to. I have no idea why, but she used to annoy me a lot, now she really doesn't, she's great.

Likable woman if you can get past the fake poshness(that's not a word is it?) about her.

Though for me doesn't fit in with the show, useless with the 1 liners, has no good comebacks whatsoever and as a huge sports fan myself I find her very cringe-worthy when she talks about sport, just because you know the names of players doesn't mean you understand sport.

Also raises the issue of, does Newsbeat need separate news and sport readers? For me no, as Newsbeat's basically just a headline service rather than a news program it could quite easily be as effective, if not more so with just 1 news and sports reader.
