Paris Hilton has been released three days into her already halved 23 day sentence. Apparently her people called their people and they did a deal. Do we have an opinion on this?

You mean like she's a spoilt little kid who has no concept of the real world and laws don't matter when you've got that amount of money?

No, not really.

We live in a world where Emily says the word n***** to get herself immersed back into the real world, and Hilton gets her 'people' to cheat the law so she can go back to her pampered life of luxary.

She is one of the few people in the celebrity world that actually irritate me - she seems to be a role model for young girls, therefore she should sort herself out and start trying to do some good rather than act like an apparent arse all the time.

I couldn't care less if she is in or out of jail, but what message is letting her out sending to the people that look up to her?

Ridiculous.

You're welcome. :D

This girl is never going to learn how to behave! There are probably innocent people in jail in America, let's get her people to call their people and do a deal for them!

She could free some of the people in Guantanamo; that would create some interesting publicity for her.

Apparently the judge who sent her down is furious and has called a hearing in the morning - he is hoping to send her back, it seems.

that is good, that there is still some integrity in the justice system and that not everyone can just be paid off.

Good point. Either way I think the 'free' part of the title isn't strictly accurate.

Why? cos the poor girl has to suffer being pampered in her own home for 30 days? My heart bleeds!

no prob.

I liked the description a newsreader gave it last night

"she's gone from being confined to a cell to being confined to a three floor luxury mansion with patio" this was read out in a sarcastic tone.

Why ?

Do you think that she would have been sent to prison at all if she wasn't famous.

read the local paper, and see how many people who are caught driving with no licence, and on the first "reoffence" get sent to prison. I bet you will find it's exactly NONE.

She's got money, she enjoys it, her Jail sentence was a PR stunt, and she should never have been sent, as for the fact that the PR machine is now in hyper drive as they have let her out early, i think it's about time for her Autobiography, what do you say baggie ?

I have to admit that I found it hard to believe she was being sent to prison at all for the offences that were reported. Mind you, a fine isn't exactly going to be a deterrent for her, is it?
