On Tuesday, I hadn't had a great day, what with the chaos at the supermarket, petty people at work, and feeling generally like a bunch of flat batteries, so I decided I would have an early night ....
As I was lying in my bed feeling quite cross, it was approximately 8:45 p.m., and across the road, the sun was shining through the trees, which were gently blowing in the breeze. All of a sudden, I just thought, "that's really peaceful and beautiful", and things no longer seemed so bad.
Thus... this makes me wonder what kind of things instantly make you lot feel better? Whether it's music, or sport, or computer games, or what? What would simply turn your mood right round?
For me what works is: a) a simple walk in the sunshine. b) looking at a lot of green nature stuff. c) positive chattering on R1 d) choirs on Classic FM e) bubble baths & candles.
Sorry it's a bit long, but I am in "deep mode" this morning!!
