With a name like Anna you can imagine I was called spanner, piana, and my surname was Hewitt so I was called Banana flavour chewitts for a long time. Munchkin, tigger and Tiger are my favourite tho.

When I was a kid my surname was Smith so at school I used to get Smithy - hated it, never suited me. When I started working here my friend Ben called me Nicola Red cos of my hair and it stuck. Now a few people I know, especially those I know via the net, just call me Red. I like it.

I know what you mean, I can't get my brain to acknowledge that I am any more than 23. I think a lot of people get this - and I think it is why people start to think about plastic surgery, its not so much about vanity, as about trying to reconcile the person you look like with the person you really actually ARE, on the inside. I still don't think I'll do it though.

Some days I still think I am about 17, other days I feel every day of my 32-and-a-half years, mainly when I'm around younger people! I live in a very studenty area and seeing their enthusiasm for everything reminds me just how bitter and cynical I've become.
