Actually I just consulted the rules thread and it does specify no ads...I'm just wondering if the mods have been particularly strict with glenn cos of the nature of his site. Hmm.

I post on a Lost forum sometimes and the mods are the most stringent I have ever seen. Any hints of promotion or advertising are swiftly removed, along with double posts, anything vaguely off-topic, and sometimes spelling/grammar mistakes, and anyone posting anything remotely rude or unpleasant is rewarded with a week-long read-only ban. It shocked me when I first went there, but the mods must work so hard to maintain it - it has absolutely tons of sections.
