Gordon Ramsey - What an arse. I wish, when I was young, that all I needed to do to make money was: Be an ugly tw*t, chop and sling a few veg together, kill live animals and swear a lot, I would have been ok now. I'm ashamed to admit that I gave up my time and viewing figure to watch this 'person'.
I viewed the Moyles clip and promptly killed myself.

The sooner Moyles decides to stop going on TV the better, he just always comes across as being simple. He's so nervous on it, and tries to play on the "I'm innocent and silly" act way too much. I'm sorry for the big man because it just doesn't work for him. He's great on the radio and comes across as being "in charge" and "no messing" but for some reason on TV he always comes across so meek and mild, it's just cringy sometimes.

Ramsey too is a tit, and that's the first time I've watched that show, if they're all the same then it'll be the last.

Producer: "Now then Gordon I want every other word to be a swear word, particularly use the word fcuk a lot."
Ramsey: "Even if it's out of context"
Producer: " Yes, just say it as much as possible, whenever you want".

I love Gordon and he actually is like that in real life. At least it's a cookery programme that's entertaining. Mind youwe can't all like the same things. I think it's Chris's intention and a sign of his maturity that he doesn't try and "be in charge" on TV - if it was his TV show I'm sure he would be but he's trying not to steal the limelight from the hosts

I read the ramsey biography at the weekend, Apart from the usual, my dad was a drunk and beat me mum, we had no money, me brothers a druggie self pitying tosh, it was well written and got across how frantically hard the guy works, and that most of his success is down to Marrying a bird with a rich Dad.

He is not the arse the telly makes him out, and he has got very many loyal staff.

And as for the swearing, I am sorry but it's reality, if you work in a kitchen ( and I did from about 12 ) then this is what you can expect.

I never forget when I was about 6, we went on a school trip to the Barbican in Plymouth, me Father was a fisherman at the time, and we called him up on a ship radio out at Sea and I spoke to him in front of the class sort of crap, anyway, perfectly polite, then when they switched back to the on shore "skipper" it was Alright JOhn, * weather, * fish prices, * diesel gone up, * shit beer in the * Navy, did you see that * slag with Davey G, had his * wallet out * fleeced the * before he could say *.

Anyway, what I mean to say is that in some environments that is how people speak to each other, it's not normally on TV but it is a reality, and getting ever so prudish about it really means you have led an extremely sheltered life, if indeed you could even call it a life

- About the same, I think!

I haven't read the Ramsey autobiography yet, I think I have to get that. I do like him. And Boboff is spot on about life in a professional kitchen. Its no place for a sensitive flower.

i thought it was great but i do agree moyles does seem a little contrived when he's on tele

i also though when gordon was on the radio yesterday he seemed to be a bit exasperated with chris
