Once again, the monstrous BB has rolled into town, with the standard desperate bunch of "wannabees" - "please make me famous - I've arrived here, I'm going to sit in a bubble bath for the next 12+ weeks, and this means I have earned a right to fame".

Do others, like me, think reality TV is simply going to "blow up" one of these days, for one reason or another ? And people will go back to good, solid dramas?

I think the endless cycle of these type of shows is just one of the reasons why I enjoyed the recent "Life on Mars" SO MUCH, because just for a change, it was something DEEP and SOLID.

I agree. Exactly the same each year. This year is like last year, like the year before, the year before that, etc. I watched half of it, then went off for my zzzzz's.

But i think over time people will lose interest in these shows as they are the same each year. :)

The ratings keep going up though Fowler, last year saw record audiences. I don't see it slowing down any time soon.

I think your analysis of Big Brother is the same as what most people think of it Viv, but people still watch it because they find it compulsive viewing (I don't find it compulsive viewing by the way.)
