well, that depends on who created the thread.

if you look at my "hayfever - the bane of my life" thread, for example, you can be pretty sure it'll be about hayfever and how it is the bane of my life, and you would be correct.

Viv's thread entitled "swing back", on the other hand...well, your guess would be as good as mine. It could be about the tricky process of garden toy home assembly. but it's not.

I click on the orange markers, always choosing the last page, sometimes I'll look back through the previous pages if it looks interesting, or doesn't make any sense at that point, or if I've posted before on that topic.

If there are a lot of orange markers, I click on the last ones first, then click the back button, and do this until I get to the latest posts.

Trouble is quite often I'm doing other stuff, so I may clear quite a few, but go back and theyve re-appeared, then I'll have a look because its so active, but often I find some discussion or squabble going on that I haven't a clue about.

True - but even the topics with sensible titles tend to wander, and after a page or two bear no resemblance to what they started out as. Which I like, by the way.

I tend now to only look at threads that I have looked at previously, I think that way at least there are some safe heavens from the tediousness that is me

I log on and look for orange squares - I'd like to see different colours for different sections. Then I'll look for new threads, and if there are any, I'll think "yahoo! new threads!" If there aren't, well, I'll create some.
