All of the Land Rovers pretty much share a chassis, the X-Type is on a Mondeo chassis, which is why it's so pap and I know that there's some sharing between Nissan and Renault too. In about 20 years I reckon that most car companies will just be rolling out 1 chassis each, and sticking four or five different top hats on them.
