I'm not swayed by adverts but I know the ones I like, take no notice of what they advertise though so I'm an advertisers nightmare!

Brand is everything and nothing, perception is it all, time takes care of brands, In the Skoda add they use tate & lyle golden syrup, slow sales but Iconic, Out of Strebgth comes forth sweetness !! What ever it means, I read it when I was 6 on the same tin they still peddle, I remember Waterstones in Cambridge 20 years ago, and it's my recollection of the store then, and as you say the manager, that means it is so strong a brand with me today ( I know there were two at the time !)

Our brand is in the top 3 high street brands. It's a great brand. That would've been the Bridge St store that long ago! I'm glad you like our brand too.

The tate and Lyle quote is something to do with the bible a lion and some honey as I remember. Although I'm sure someone will correct me!
