I listened again to the recommended Eddie Izzard thing kindly highlighted by footie, it was so funny, and also very "Moyles" I think they call it stream of conscience or something, but this humour, and the Dom stuff is similar, must be why I like it so much. I think Eddie Izzard recorded this in about 92, Badger with a gun, best laid plans of mice, all classics !

Izzard is fantastic. We saw him on stage a few years ago, and he spent the first 10 minutes of his routine trying to blow a paper hat off his head with a hand held fan....

I see what you mean about the humour being Moylesy, its very random.
If you like definite Article, check out Unrepeatable, the best one he's done.
The more recent ones aren't as good, IMO. Still funny though.
