Hmmm £50,000 might seem a lot, but it isn't really when you consider later in the article they say that was a group of over 100, plus it was over 12 or more hours.

No, it says spent on drinks. £500 per person on drinks would be a lot.

It's the Daily Star though, which has been scientifically proven to be 97% made up bullshit.

It is cliched, but I dont pay my licence fee for Moyles to piss it up the wall. I resent paying the bloody thing as it is, that's before reading this.

Of course stories in the Star should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Why does the Daily star exist anyway. If you want crappy, pointless news; buy the Sun. If you want naked girls buy the Sport. Simple as.

I reckon the Daily Star is just a poor imitation, that doesn't really cut the mustard in any form. Newspapers can be fun sometimes though. Anyone who was a Chelsea fan would have loved the endless FA cup coverage in all the Sundays yesterday.

That is indeed a fine birthday treat. I saw it in the pub, where it was about 60 - 40 in favour of Manchester United. As the game progressed, the United fans slowley shut up and sulked and sulked. It was wonderful to see.

£500 million well spent.

And Manchester United of course is a team full of sunday league players who only cost a fiver between them eh what.
By Ballbag

Of course they are not sunday league players, now that would be daft. Yes they are expensive....... but the spending of Surrey United (Man Utd to the masses) over the last few years is minute compared to that of Chelsea, as is Liverpools.
