Ok so I hate football, am a rugby girl, but how has this thing managed to draw me in? I'm actually sat watching the build up!!!!! Have chosen a team - Chelsea cos Jose is just so mental and John Terry has a great arse - and am getting excited!

How has this happened? Who do you want to win? and finally what will the score be?

I obviously don't care about the footballers looks, but I am and always will be a red. So I choose United.

I think Chelsea will win with a goal from Didier Drogba in extra time.

Where did Topsy and Tim go this time?

ooh! It's called Horse's Arse and it's kind of a cross between The Sweeny and Life on Mars about a rogue police station where they just get on with the job. It's hilarious! Shame you've only got as far as Topsy and Tim, there's a whole world of books out there you should try Mr Chirpy!

ive read that!

the best bit is where they arrested that guy for no tv licence and he was fined £150 plus £75 court costs.

such a thrilling read.

That's not in it! There are loads of "best bits" like having to take the inspector to hospital cos she'd passed out in the loo after Psycho had a massive poo and she screamed and passed out at the sight of it! Or when they gassed the gang through the air vent in the cells! It's really funny, honestly, writen by an ex cop called Charlie Owen!

On Five Live the other night they said there are two offences at the BBC which will definitely get you the sack. One was not having a TV Licence and the other was having sex on BBC grounds.

Football - I agree with Mr Yudster's summary of the game - he is a big United fan and said if it hadn't been a United game he would have switched off at half time, and neither team really deserved to win it.

Books (which this thread seems to have diverted to) - I am reading Michael Asher's biography of TE Lawrence at the moment, and I have to admit I am struggling a bit. Press on.

How many times did Motson need to keep reminding us that this was the first FA Cup Final at the new Wembley? I think it was in his every sentence.

If it's too dull STOP reading! Life's too short to read something you're not enjoying! There are masses of great books out there honey, read something enjoyable instead!
