The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I think friends is hilarious. Admittedly I have an odd sense of humour but 99% of the episodes are fabulous. My ref to you needing to be in your mid thirties is that we were the same age at the same time doing similar things in the same era. Some things aren't as funny if you haven't lived them! and girls got it better than boys!

I think it's showing on the BBC (BBC4?), but I *aquired* it via other means.

Topher wrote:Jack Nicholson played a fantastic Joker, he was ideal for the role. Nicholson is a supreme actor, one of the very best (certainly at the moment anyway).

Isn't Heath Ledger the new Batman villan? Hes been in some terrible films. As has Ben Affleck.

As far as I am concerned, they can both make as many crap films as they like - as long as I can still look at them. I ask no more than this.

I can see how they are both attractive but Ben Affleck seems to think if he squints that covers a whole range of emotions.

Definately true in Kevin Smith's movies, don't recall him even going as far as squinting in other movies.

I've never seen the Afleck attraction.* Heath Ledger, fair enough.

*Same goes for Clooney.

Heath Ledger has hamster cheeks though and terrible hair in a lot of films.

I liked him in A Knight's Tale. But then I liked Alan Tudyk too.

The fact that A Knights Tale is one of my absolute favourite films is one of my guilty little secrets.

Possibly the first one. The second one unless I'm much mistaken definitely didn't star Heath Ledger. Unless hes a far better actor than I thought.

Sliding Doors is good with a depressing ending.

I liked 50 First Dates too - I'd never heard of it before Mrs Topher (who is a bit of an Adam Sandler fan) told me about it; I said that I knew the film because I thought she said 51st State, the Samuel L Jackson film. I was a bit confused when she put it on.

Fireworks are a terrible thing. And animals always absolutely hate them.

My dogs aint bothered by fireworks, but Maya (the puppy) crapped herself when we had that earthquake in February and shot up the stairs yelping and jumped on my bed, but Niko(the big dog) wasnt bothered
