Have any of you done anything bizarre due to being stressed?

Last Saturday, Sara Cox came on air just after 1300 hours, and forgot her own name (!!). What a hoot.

Sara Cox has been known to pronounce the x at the end of her name as a k.

Not at all, honest.

Not my style.

Id just be nasty then when questioned say that I was joking - its a cracking tactic. A "get out of jail free" card if you will.

if this is directed @ me, I'm not meaning to be really nasty... there's no genuine nastiness or distress meant.

Well, maybe instead of just telling someone to "piss off" or whatever when they question something which you have said, you should try discussing it.

Thats what the whole point of these boards is. Not everyone is gonna agree on everything, but folk will prob get sick of just being told "i'm right and you're wrong".

And just cos someone disagrees with you on a topic, it doesn't mean that they will disagree with you on everything, but I would think that folk would think less of your opinion if you never back it up with an argument and allow your opinion to be debated.

Im going to get lunch.

OK.... as I can sense some anger, I WILL take your point on board !! The p*** off's, etc. I just viewed as BANTER: no more, no less, Foots. I'm sorry you feel this week, and will try my best to simmer it down, ok....!! I don't think I'm always right!! I haven't even been here for 6 days, foots.!!

The foot man always says folk, and in that respect he always reminds me of Cameron, the Scottish dude who won big brother a while back.

there was absolutely no need for that, I think. I don't think I'm always right @ all. :-(

I believe you when you say you don't intend to offend anyone viv - but only up to a point. Surely if you genuinely don't want to offend, and it is pointed out to you that your behaviour actually DOES cause offence, and, knowing this, you still choose to behave in a way which you KNOW causes offence, you can't really argue that you don't want to offend.

Or substitute whatever word is appropriate for "offend", I'm sure there are better words to describe the Viv Factor. And for the record, I do get a bit irritated with you sometimes as you will remember, but you don't offend me at all.

I ain't angry - it just gets a bit repetative.

Nor did I mean to imply that you thought you were always right, but maybe that you just didn't like other people to have a different opinion to yourself. It might be from your experiences in life that when someone argues with you, you immediatly get on the defense - i dunno.

Plus, I thought "folk" was a word everyone used? It's not just Scottish is it?

Plus plus, I agree with what Yuds has just said.

You are just so B band, no need for that ? when the chap takes the trouble to explain these so well, no need for that ? for what stating why saying "piss off" is not considered an effective rebutal in any circumstance, unless it's to try and remove a large grolly from a Urinal wall, which is fun.

Viv you remind me so much of a class of girls I went to school with that were also called either Viv or Ethel or Sarah or Belinda who has absolutely no confidence, looks, appeal or personality and when you spoke to them they would always come back with totally inspired drivel, they were normally unable to do there hair correctly, had small breasts and or were chubby, and almost always were the last in the year to "come on "

But your old, and that shouldn't be the case now, should it ?

boboff, yudster, footie, wow. i think you did a better job articulating my frustration with viv. viv, you don't offend me- you're just annoying at times and you make it worse by taking everything so personally. if you're going to keep posting fluffly drivel, you need to accept that people will complain about it.
