[quote="foot-loose"]Baby rhymes with birthday - surely?

They both have an "eh" sounding finish. And they both have two syllables.

You are scottish so 'spose you can be forgiven for your mispronunciation, but i think you'll find that baby finishes with the 'ie' sond and bithday finishes with the 'ay' sound. lol!

Good. I hope they carry on doing that. If you want unneccesary treatment you should have to pay for it.

so having a baby is necessary?

No, but not having a baby doesn't actually require surgery.

It may do if you want to make absolutely sure you don't have kids.

It does if you have a caesarian. Luckily i didn'nt have to have that with my daughter, but it seems to be a relativly major surgical event by all accounts. I can't understand anyone who chooses to have one, like Victoria Beckham for instance. There's no problems with the usual way as long as you keep doing the old pelvic floors eh what.

thankyou DemonHorse! short of abstinence, female sterilisation is more effective than any other form of contraception - 99.5%. I have no idea what the cost of supplying contraception is to the NHS - but it can't be cheap, and it's not foolproof. Female sterilisation is a one off procedure and I can't compromise its effectiveness with forgetfulness, sickness bugs, antibiotics or anything else I could do.

To be honest, i never really expected the NHS to pay. I just find it dubious that even if you are having your tenth baby, they will stump up all the resources required without question, regardless of whether you've ever paid a penny in income tax. Some kind of limitation might make people think more carefully about their family planning. (and no I'm not having a go at you pinky - I'm referring to people who are lax about these things, particularly teenage girls on benefits and the like.)

Yes but do you really believe that being born in between two dates makes you a particular type of person? Anyone who believes in that tripe is nothing short of stupid.

What i can't understand about scorpio is why it's a water sign. It's obvios that a pisces would be one, but whats a scorpion got to do with water.

I was breach and they didn't really do caesareans in the 70s...I came out upside down and my hip got dislocated in the process. Ended up with a lifetime of problems as a result! So much fun. :)
