Oh and Z, the test card makes a brilliant return in Life on Mars, if the 2 DVDs of both series I have bought were like a crime scene then I would enjoy going over them with a fine tooth comb.

The test card used to scare me. Still does a bit. Can't quite explain why, just found it kinda eerie.

Big Brother...does anyone actually watch it anymore? I haven't seen it since series 4 which was the era of Cameron - remember him?

He was a nothing kind of chap wasn't he. My favourite season, if you can call it that was the one with Kate Lawler, Jade and co. Iwas watching it in labour i seem to remeber; it momentarily distracted me.

I hardly watched it at all last year, but I still seemed to know exactly what was going on. The same goes for that celebrity nonsense earlier this year.

I literally never saw a single episode last year and yet somehow I too knew the names of most of the contestants and what was going on in the house. It gets so much coverage on other TV, radio, magazines etc that you'd have to live in a cave with the curtain drawn to avoid it.

Despite this, I worked at an ice rink in the city centre over xmas/new year and when there was a huge fuss about someone called 'Lisa from Big Brother' (I think they take that as their new surname after the show) arriving to skate and everyone wanting autographs etc, I was pleased to say that I had absolutely no idea who she was. Wouldn't have known her if I'd tripped (or skated in this case) over her.
