After hearing that Pete Doherty was arrested yet again over the weekend, I think he's lucky that he's famous or he would have been jailed a long time ago had he been ordinary.

I would really appreciate and enjoy the opportunity of missing him. And Kate Moss. What is she thinking? Or is that a silly question, given the evidence that she lacks a brain in the first place?

Indeed, although she does seem to be getting a lot of publicity at the moment..... Nudge nudge, wink wink, know what I mean, know what I mean, say no more, say no more! A nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat!

What does that actually mean? I've never quite been able to work it out. I get that if the bat (or whatever) is blind, then neither nod nor wink are of any use - but how does that relate to the type of surreptitious complicity implied by nudging and winking in the frst place? This is an anomaly of language I have long struggled with.
