Jeremy Edwards got wheeled past me in a wheelchair at a london based airport - can't remember which one.

It might have been Gatwick. Or Luton. Or Heathrow. It definitly wasn't Stanstead.

My Story

I once met a journalist who was so lazy he went on a radio 1 fansite to get all of his info. He was soon fired by his editor.

The End

Ok, I've just had a look on your website and you seem to be a decent kind of guy, but at the end of the day you have to admit this is incredibly lazy - wanting views on celeb culture is one thing, but using it as a mask to try and get celebrity stories is another. Firstly you are on completly the wrong forum, I know of loads of better places on the web to seek out the sort of people who might have stories at what you want. Secondly the cream of celebs most people have met on here (bar Moyles himself) is about the level of Simon Bodger of Bodger and Badger fame. Thirdly, if I did have a celebrity story to tell, I'd probably go straight to The Sun/The Mirror etc and get a bit of cash, rather than take the chance of you stealing it and giving me no credit or cash - not saying you ever have or will do that but Journo's have a reputation.

No offence or anything, it just pissed me off that it appears you are asking us to do your own work - and also the fact that you are barking up the wrong tree.

Really? Have you forgotten Rodney Edwards aka Beep Beep Buster, Rocky and Dimon Trowel? Besides, his site uses a no-right-click script - who the hell still uses them in this day and age? Certainly not a decent person.

I do find it ironic that the person who once asked for these boards to be closed is now asking for out help to do his work...

Well if its Dimon Trowel, he should have PMd me. To quote the man himself from 2005 - "Numpty".

Haha - that actually makes a lot of sense now, especially regarding his Joe Mott blog. Popbitch even said he had too much time on his hands

Yeah that's one of the (many) ways of getting round a right-click script. People seem to forget that if you visit a web page, that web page and everything embedded in it is on your hard drive.

I still have the PMs that say different, but if you say so. I mean a journo twisting the truth - it's unheard of!

I met Saracen from Gladiators, he was training to lead a Princes Trust team at the time, I imagine he's leading a team now as that was in 2004.

Well, I work in theate so I've met many celebs, some nice and some not so much. My favourites - Derren Brown and Mark Radcliffe. My least favourites - well, Gwen Taylor leaned over the counter and pulled my pigtail which I wasn't too impressed with, but if I relayed any more interesting stories than that I think I might find myself on the wrong end of a libel suit!

Mark is indeed lovely. Marc Riley's also lovely. I had to keep his mobile number in my phone for a time cos I was sorting out some tickets for a mate of his - made me feel all "friend of the stars". I got to hang out backstage for a little while with Derren while his people were setting up for the show, and I was like a rubbish blushing schoolgirl but he was very nice and friendly and signed my newspaper cutting with a very charming personal message. I have it on my wall. Yes, I am sad.

Must also add that I often deal with the Corrie cast and Shobna Gulati (Sunita) and Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley) are particularly nice. Julie H said she loved my hair - that was very sweet. Her husband's very handsome, too.

My observation about meeting famous people: they are almost always shorter than you expect.

I met Simon Pegg and Nick Frost earlier this year, had a chat with about us both coming from Gloucester. Very nice bloke, seemed quite shy though. Nick frost is the kind of guy I'd love to go out for a few drinks with.

This is true - and the men are nearly always much skinnier than you think. However it doesn't hold true for footballers, who, in my experience, are always a lot bigger than I expect them to be. And usually better looking, damn them.
