You know the old saying you wait ages for a bus then 3 come at once?

Mrs Zoot took me out for a meal tonight, no reason for it, just spur of the moment. We set off and we got to a main junction to find it was swarming with armed police, and we had to wait for ages to be let through. It looked like the off license and been held up as they dragged someone out. Anyway, after a while they let us through and we carried on. No more than 4 minutes later we were driving past a park and saw (what looked like) a girl trying to pull a bag away from (what looked like) a mentally disabled lady while a man was watching out.After a quick discussion with mrs zoot, she phoned the police to tell them what we had seen. They rang back 20 mins later to say they were there and couldn't see anything. Anyway, that was a good 2 hours ago. We are baqck home and watching TV. 10 mins ago we just had a knock on the door. It was two police officers. They asked us if anyone was living next door, because they had just found a van that had been abandoned that was registered to next door. Next door has been empty for about 18 months, so we explained that, and they thanked us ands left. That was it. No big conclusion I'm afraid, but how weird was that? 3 events involving the police, none of them related to each other...

Incidentally, i had a fantastic meal - Goats cheese and Bacon salad followed by Medium steak with peppercorn sauce and Veg followed by Crackers and cheese...

2. I'm a vegan. I don't recall ever really liking steak tho. I had a meal with a charming young gentleman not so long ago who ordered his steak blue and then apologised to me for it, as if rarer meat might offend me. It doesn't!

Yes, 999 last month when someone torched my neighbours car (Honda Civic Type R, red) outside my house, and rare with a clove of garlic rubbed over it before its cooked.

Yes, when I thought the fire brigade should attend a car that was on fire on some waste land near to where I live. I phoned the police station to tell them, they told me to phone the fire brigade, I said I didn't have a number for the fire brigade to which the incredibly sarcastic officer I was talking to informed me that it was "two nines followed by another nine".

I explained that it was hardly an emergency and didnt think it was a good idea to be jamming up the emergencey services phone number when the car was already torched and noone was hurt. I was told to phone 999 again.

And rare with some sorta marinade. Ive never tried that with the garlic Yuds, I may give it a go at some point.

Well, I would assume that if you are, you wouldn't be using it really. Dried chilli flakes rubbed on before you cook it are good too, but don't do it if you don't like chilli, eh?!

Your prob best getting a cow then, peeling it, cutting it in half and rubbing the cut side over your steak. Unless your cow intolerant.
