The Bad Touch and Buck Rogers were 2000. Also, the Supergrass song was called Alright.

You're young and clearly don't know better but you say anything against B*witched again and I will set Sidders on you.

I would like to put it on record that I am totally apathetic about B*Withced.

Ahh but what you see there is charlalottie has not realised that sidders opinion doesn't actually count.

I'm not going to be some kind of evil dictator, telling you what tracks to play but you might want to consider a few from these bands.

Suede
Ocean Colour Scene
Blur
Daft Punk
Happy Mondays
New Radicals
Ash
New Order
Boo Radleys
Lightning Seeds
The Bluetones
Jamiroquai
Dodgy
Stone Roses

Also, stick in a few difficult album tracks to generally confuse people, find room for Kriss Kross - Jump, and end the night with Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe followed by some NKOTB to stink the place out.

By they way, I love how you call The Verve a bit depressing for a party and then stick Karma Police by Radiohead in your list, (nothing at all wrong with Radiohead though)

Oh God, I hated Reef. With a passion.

I can only think of a couple more: The Cure, Green Day, The Pixies, The Charlatans, The Wonderstuff, Weezer, The Lemonheads, Pop Will Eat Itself. Apologies if any of those are repeats - that first list's a long one.

There are no Madonna songs on your playlist... you have to fill your party with Madonna songs.... that's what I'd do.... :-)

Smashing Pumpkins were indeed 90s, as were Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and Hole amongst many other grunge bands. and sorry Yud...I just couldn't stand them! That 'Place Your Hands' song makes me angry.

The next album was the best. Orl roight now. Hole were (are?) horrible.

What about Bros? They were huge in the early nineties. Crap, but huge!

Bros only had three hits in the 90s - one in 1990, one in 91 - none of them making the top ten. Their huge hits were all in the 80s.

I'll take your word for it - I remember them from 1991, so I'm not sure what I'm thinking!
