Basically Scott Mills gets people to email into his show if people hear things which could be taken in a differently. Its actually really funny!

I find Scott Mills woefully unfunny in general. Him and 'Chappers' are a waste of license fees.

I never bothered to find out how the pair teamed up in the first place, if I were to guess - Chappers (friend of Dave) was just 'around' and managed to get on Scott's show, and I certainly have no idea where Laura sprung up from. Never really been to UM.

I went to a maths lesson today, and was presented with the following equation.

Scott Mills + (chappers * nasal) + (Laura/manic fake laugh) + massive ammounts of scripting = the worst radio ever

To be honest, I think alot of the people who criticise Scott and his show probably haven't listened much (which in a way is fair enough, why listen if you don't think you like it?) I used to think he was rubbish, without really having listened to him, then when I eventually gave him a chance I found I actually quite liked the show. So please people, just give it a proper listen (i.e. not just 5 minutes then giving up - listen properly, and not just to one show - everyone has their bad days) Even if you listend a bit a while ago, why not give it another chance, it may have improved! The reason this really annoys me is that it's exactly the same as the way alot of press criticise Moyles, when they clearly haven't listened to the show.

I think a lot of people (certainly on here) who slate it have listened though - and a few seem to be former fans who have become fed up with what he's doing lately.

I certainly don't like him as much as I did, but I still enjoy listening.

Are you being serious? Chappers is the sport news reader on Scott's show.

Mincy, he doesn't have his moments, the script writers may do, but he doesn't.

Bex, I unfortunately am forced to listen to his show, I've given him a chance and found him more and more annoying each day. Actually, I think it's the whole format that I find irritating, it's basically aimed at the 12 - 16 year old market..... that of which I am no longer a member.

Topher.... good use of the italic function for emphasis purposes.
