The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I hate to post negative comments but the show today was the biggest load of drivel i have ever heard. I'm in a constant struggle at work to get moyles on but latley it's becoming more and more difficult.

This morning i lost we had to have kerrang on now i got to admitt the music is awesome and majority of the presenters are chris moyles wannabees so it's supprisingly listenable.

i have been a fan of chris's since the graveyard shift but found myself retuning the radio.

Chris bottom line the show today was S.H.I.T.E and has been getting that way for a while.

please help give a reason to battle my workmates as i know the next step is wogan

could you be more specific as to why you thought it was so bad?

it was just drivel.
It was messy unplanned sounded amatuer

as i've said before i've listened to chris for years i get what he does and know that the shows are meant to sound like unplanned drivel
But it sounded like very bad radio it didn't flow like normal and hasn't for a while.

Granted he sounded tired but when all else fails, theres Mr ROY WALKER, funniest CPC in a while. And I dont know how you couldn't have laughed at the Zane Lowe clips after the 9:30 news.

And what about Vernon Kaye? No? Ok then.

PS - I texted in a contribution to the Lemur banter - 'Karma Cha-Lemur!' Geddit? No? Oh f*** it then.

I'm not sure what you are worrying about. If your workmates don't want to listen to Moyles, and you do, ok, I could understand yur concern - but if you don't like the show, why do you want it kept on? And if the answer to that is that you don't like Wogan, well, I'm with you there, but you don't like Moyles either (at the moment anyway), so if you had Wogan on, at least your colleagues would be happy. You would be the same. Why do you want an argument to keep listening to a show you don't enjoy?

We're such a divided nation aren't we, so many different tastes, so many different channels/stations, but yet if we all agreed upon a true victor we could go back to the days of everyone listening in unison to Tony Blackburn, mind you telly and radio was more of a novelty then.

I'm sure that's the same for most countries.

Is a difference of opinion automatically the same as a division?

Whatever you say Yud a yud yud. Do remember that it came from lazy fella explaining the difficulties of his peers around the radio, he wanted Moyles they wanted something I think was the drift, hence they were divided, and could not suit themselves.

No, it was a genuine question - when does a difference of opinion become a division - or are they actually the same? I just wondered.

I didn't hear the full show today - I rarely do these days unless I use Listen Again - but I ddn't hear anything specifically that made me think today was a bad day. I think Moyles sounding tired shows he's human and reflects the mood of the listeners - it's 12.15 now and I'm still quite tired! And the lemur stuff made me chuckle.

I think a division is stronger than a difference of opinion...maybe a division is where you actually fall out over it, rather than just being able to agree to disagree.

I do like the show as stated i've been a fan since the graveyard shift.

I want it kept on cos of my hatred of been bored by wogan and that i usually find the show entertaining just thought it blew goats yesterday.

I thought todays show was better more back to normal although i went to toilet came back and wogan was boring the paint off the walls.

in my opinion If the show was as good as i thought it was a year ago then i would have an argument to say this is brilliant but when i don't believe in it i can't argue against i have just rely on how much i don't want wogan on.

The problem i think is with me i listen to the howard stern show every day so i've got use to a different style/quality of show which is leagues ahead of anything else.

Er - he's a disc jockey, so surely by definition his job is to play music?
