Oh God, I sold Bill Roache aka Ken Barlow some tickets a while ago. For someone who plays the so-called intellectual character in the show, he was the most doddery, dopey customer I'd had in a while. I was very irritaed by the end of that.

Oh God, you'd be surprised. I often wonder how some of my customers manage to dress themselves in the morning.

It's a wonder Ken has never been sacked from Corrie as his acting is appauling. I guess it just got to a point where he had been there so long it was embarresing to let him go.

Case in point - his "angry" acting this week was a load of rubbish. Instead of reacting like his daughter was a lieing murderer he was about as angry as if Deidre had forgotten to bring out the ketchup to the dinner table

Hes a b***** for saying he'll be in it till he dies, how presumptious! I say round it off at 50 long years, you've come this far might aswell go out with a bang but the mans so dull that corrie chiefs dont have the guts to thrash out an exit for his long outdated character with him.

Judging from my experience of talking to him, they've quite possibly tried to do that very thing but given up attempting to explain it to him cos he completely failed to grasp what they were saying.

Have yer been in't rovers Nic? Or maybe you're from the MEN? They've got a nice new building now, that old brown-bricked one is just having its demolition work finished off. I actually have a pass for Granada but not sure where I've put it.

Nah, I work in theatre (you'll know the one - named for a famous artist). I have met most of the cast of Corrie one way or another in my work, tho. Shobna Gulati, who was Sunita, and Julie Hesmondhalgh, Hayley, are both absolutely lovely (Julie H said she loved my hair!) The bloke who was Martin Platt, forget his name, was nice too. I better not say who isn't so nice in case I get sued!

I'd love to work in theatre, not because I'm a bit ooh err, but because I was inspired through watching Andrew Lloyd Webber and Willy Russel's production whilst at school, got into the acting buzz. I'll try and think of the theatre you mean, its not near Deansgate is it? I do believe the cast toddle over there every now and again for charidee. Haely Cropper has actually notched up the most sightings by me round the gates as I sometimes go by there, and I've seen a few around and about the area on my way to and from work in the past.

haha, you didn't miss much kendra. I almost fell over him when he was asleep on a sofa in the staff canteen inbetween performances. He's thinner and scruffier in real life, and not as good looking I thought, although that of course depends on whether you think he's good looking in the first place!
