but then what do I know, I still think Father Ted's 'My Lovely Horse' should have been an actual entry.
I presume an entry for Ireland?
I think the song is suited for eurovision, and could do the trick.
Re: do I think eurovision is a joke? Yes I do, but that's what it is meant to be. Once it was a serious competition, but now it's just a laugh that happens every spring with no other intention, but to amuse the public and further highlight the "buddy" relationship some countries have with one another.
I caught the results show on Saturday, and it was hilarious, bring back Fleetwood and Fox.
Wogan - "the act that will represent the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland will beeeeeeeeeeeeeeee............. Cyndi"
Cotton (simultaneously but not as loud as Wogan) - ".........Scooch"................Cyndi cheers and Scooch console themselves......... "No, it's Scooch, it's Scooch going through"........... the look on Cyndi's face was priceless.
Well done Wogan.
