It's basically the only green thing I'll eat (except peas). Bananas can only have a little bit of green though.

Fish finger sandwiches with ketchup are yummy. Chip butties with ketchup. Sausage sandwiches with ketchup. Bacon and fried egg sandwiches with ketchup. I'm hungry.

At the school where I work there are a number of cantonese kids, they make interesting sandwiches, last week one kid put a piece of battered fish on a piece of buttered bread, then cut and peeled an orange, put that on top, covered it with a vanilla yoghourt and sprinkled it with sugar, he had chips with it, which he also coated with sugar, one of the dinner ladies said "that is sugar" he replied "it's ok, I know it's not salt!"

I know, technically not a sandwich, as it only had one slice.

He ate the lot!

yeh, but I explained it 'longhand' because of the time it took him, I'm sure he wants to be a chef!

Chop some bacon up into small chunks (about 2 rashers), about 5-6 small mushrooms, fry until the bacon's cooked. Add a few fresh herbs and some grated cheddar cheese and mix in a small bowl.

Cook a pancake, then put the bacon/mushroom/cheese mix in the middle of the pancake and roll it up. Sprinkle some more cheese on top of the pancake and bake in a medium oven for about 15 minutes.

My own invention. Beautiful.

Oh for those who don't know how to cook a pancake, it's 1 egg, 2 ounces of flour and mix with milk until the desired consistency is reached. Then fry on really hot oil on both sides.

Today I'm doing roast lamb with roast potatoes, cauliflower, brocolli, yorkshire pudding and proper gravy. Haven't had lamb for ages, looking forward to that.
