"Your wee bit"? Surely not? Surely it's "yon Cheviot hill and glen"? A reference to the battles over the border? Thats what I always thought, ever since a drunken Scotsman first sung it to me in a bar in Majorca in the summer of 1982..........

And where you said "And stood against him, proud Edward's army" - I was taught it was "And tore asunder, proud Edward's army". Of course, either one of us could just google it.....! And like I said, I heard it from a very drunk gentleman. And it was a long time ago.

Well, its probably wrong! Like I keep saying, very drunk man, Majorca! Scottish! Drunk, dammitt! I know you are sometimes also very drunk foot loose, but most of the time it seems you are coherent, so I am not going to doubt that you know the words to your own national anthem!

Whoa there Mr Wookie - smilies are alright as long as they aint in every post.

**goes to check that he hasn't used any other smilies for a while**

I only use them to convey a particular expression.

Take this fine example:

Bag for balls wrote:*Puts fists together, pushes them out to the left and swings them round to the right, pulls towards chest - repeats*

Could have been much easier said with a simple

Image

Viv, on the other hand, was just a bit clicky happy with the smilie facility!

  :P

I don't know what I'd want, 4 minutes sit down with a bottle of red wine and some cheese, in fact the cheese that I'm eating right now (although this is a tiny amount, i could definately eat more than this in 4 minutes)

....a friend of mine delivers culture (bacteria made for cheese) to a farm about 10 miles from Yeovil, and he picked up a sample from the owner.....

Best Cheese ever!

(has been reffered to as 'Vindaloo' cheese, you may have heard of it)

Vindaloo cheese was on the TV the other night...
Is it made with chilies or just very strong?
Is it nice?

No, it's matured for 2 years - which is the longest maturing time (i believe), so it's very strong, and tastes superb, costs a bloody fortune though!

You like Sheeps Cheese?

Its rank - i am a huge lover of the cheese, but I tend to settle for the cow variety only.

Goats cheese is also horrible.
