The Little Green Man and Zoom Zoom.

If anyone can prove this show isn't just a figment of my imagination then they will have my gratitude.

Finders Keepers returned to CITV last year with Jeff Brazier as the host, I saw some of one episode but I thought it was inferior to the old Neil Buchanan version which I grew up watching.

You could have just stuck it into google.

I have before and it never came up with anything. You don't know how happy seeing that makes me. I'm suprised it was ITV though because we never watched that. Me and my sister used to love it.

Ahhhhh

I know of a show like that but I don't know the name.. it was about a school (I think) and some of the teachers / pupils belonged to some kind of sect and they had a leader known only as 'Number One'. Their hideout was in a big rock of some kind I think.

Weren't they books? I think I had one or two.

This has bothered me for many years, and i'm sure i haven't just imagined it.

I know the one you mean. They were all in an elivator and they had to try and get to the penthouse. What the hell was the name of that? Whatever it was it was great.

I had a Richard Scarry book when I was about six. Now that was a LONG time ago. Brilliant characters I remember - there was a gorilla character called Ngorongoro Crater. Genius.

I can tell you that the programme you are talking about was 'Incredible Games' which ran on CBBC from 1994-95, David Walliams did the voice of the character presenter in the first series.

That was it! And they had that other game with the Dark Knight. I forget what you had to do now, but if he caught you he engulfed you in his cloak and sent you to the laundry room in the basement.

and they remade episodes of Steptoe and Son, most notably in the one where they divide the house exactly in two with wooden walls etc

Yep. guess they either had no original ideas of their own, or they wanted to do some kind of tribute, a bit like when Paul Merton remade a load of Galton and Simpson comedies.
