I can't believe people are still using 'lolzy' after that disaster of a user who used to do it seriously all the time.

The fat one was Mr Barker who was the funny one. He is, however, also the dead one! :?

Corbett was never as funny as Barker. Barker had the mind of a genius and i soooo wish I could be any where near as funny as him. The man was a perfectionist and an absolute legend.

No dig at your uncle intended!

Barker was indeed the genius behind the pair.... "Open all hours"........... excellent show.

The man was a legend.

He was, but Corbett was the much needed Wise to Barker's Morcambe, they needed the straight man.

Open All Hours was great, I agree.

I wouldn't class Ronnie Corbett as the straight man. They worked well as a pair but it is clear Barker was a bit special.

I missed most of the show (shame on me)
A trip to Alton Towers - after the show???? that would leave me reeling (with sickness from the coach trip!)
Hope they had a good time - heard a little today - did he REALLY enjoy it? or would he have preferred to be down the pub????

David Jason is, in my opinion (of course), possibly this country's finest actor. Barker is a very good actor and comedian (as Gaspode says, something special), but was better at the comedy than the acting. People like Hugh Grant are good at playing, well, Hugh Grant in everything. David Jason had such varied roles and played them all extremely well.

Hi Neil, I can't see today's show in the folder, d[…]
