Meh... tough one

Manics ARE a great band, but Klaxons are a new talent. Might as well see Klaxons while tickets are cheap, unless you REALLY want to see the Manics. On the other hands, you're more likely to be able to see the Klaxons again in the future me thinks.

Do both, half and half. The Met and Leeds Uni are only a 5 minute walk away at max. Start with one, and end with the other, stop at the dry dock on the way down for a pint.

Disappointed in Yudster and Lucie.

Go see the Manics.

I've got tickets to see them at Manc Apollo and Rock City... cannot wait.

(The Klaxons are good though).

Sorry to disappoint. I don't dislike the Manics, but with them it is a bit "been there, done that". And I preferred the drummer they sacked. At least with The Klaxons you're going to hear something new, even if it won't hold up over time as well as the Manics' stuff probably has. Actually, I think Ballbags' suggestion was a pretty good one.

Neither because one set are miserable dullards and the others are her today gone tomorrow nobodies.

I would go to the Klaxons though.

I thought they did - maybe its lost in the mists of time, I can remember a LONG way back you know, much further than you.... Or maybe I imagined it. Either is possible.

They had a drummer who went missing I think. Can't remember if he was ever found but I remember a time when loads of people thought he was dead.

Richey Edwards, although he's been missing since 1995 ish, he's not been delcared officially dead.

Although he blatently is, in my opinion. It's like all those people who think Elvis lives.

I have a similar problem chaps..

I bought some Mince the other day, and also some Chicken Breasts, when I looked at the dates for the best before last night they were both 23rd February, which should I have for my Tea, and which should I consign to the Compost ?

Have the mince, and then next week send Mrs Boboff off to work with some lovely chicken sandwiches.

Richey was the "guitarist" ( i put "" there as he couldnt play the guitar very well) he disapeered on the eve of a US tour in 95 and his car was found at the Severn bridge south wales, nothing has been found to say he still alive or that he is dead

sorry im a bit of a Manics nut

I say have the chicken and freeze the mince. That way you can have the mince at a later date.

Wait a week, undercook the chicken and then eat it.

The mince will likely keep for another couple of days after the best before date.

The chicken isnt worth playing games with.

Either that, or as Jordan has informed us, freeze the mince!

Cook the chicken breasts in a white wine sauce and serve with some nice vegetables and Lyonnaise potatoes tonight. Also cook the mince today - make a bolognese sauce or something simple - put some in the fridge for tomorrow, and freeze the rest. Save you having to cook tomorrow!

I'll try this one I think, I could do with a bout of food poisoning !

This is dull though isn't it ? I was trying to comment on banality of the thread by exagerating the situation..........
