So.... it appears Peaches Geldof doesn't rate the Queen of pop, and thinks she was an icon only in the 80's (!!). As Chris was saying this morning... who are you anyway Peaches?

Madonna has remained at the top in the 80's, 90's and 00's not just because of her brilliant music, but also because of her ability to change her image faster than I can eat bowls of rice crispies!

Maybe see you in two decades, Peaches?

I fail to see why Madonna's so well rated now. All I've seen in her since Music is a 40-odd year old trying desperately to be a 20-odd year old again... and failing dismally IMO.

Rice Crispies can take a while to eat. Especially trying to get those last wee floaty ones at the end.

Weetabix on the other hand - it drinks the milk before you get a chance to finish it!

I believe she's almost 50 Demonhorse (born 1958). And tons more energy and drive than any 20 year old I've seen. Doesn't look desperate to me. :-)

I'm not a fan of Madonna's music, though she deserves credit for staying around for so long.

I like the way she's moved with the times, but I can't stand her modern music. The Immaculate Collection was very good though.

I'm not a Madonna fan. Why is it ok for me to say that, but it isn't ok for Peaches Geldof to say it? Just a thought. And while we're here - Peaches Geldof - I know who she is, but I don't know what she is - what does she do?

The same as Paris Hilton, Kelly Osbourne, Nicole Richie, Kimberley Stewart, Callum Best........... I could go on.

They just live of their fathers' wealth and popularity.

peaches has an on/off relationship with Donny Tourette, I think.

Who said it was ok for you to say you're not a madonna fan (ha ha).

Well we're bordering into PM and advertising teritory here, but it's a 2.0 l 147, in black.

I'm selling because I harldy use it anymore what with me new job not requiring me to drive, and we can use Mrs Ballbag's car at the weekend.

Thinking of trading it in for a "fun" car, perhaps a Capri laser.

Guess we see those things differently. I don't exactly see her acting her age. This is fine when it works and they actually seem younger, but IMO it just doesn't work in her case (and sadly so many others).

I may be doing a Mike Newell but there is very little music made by females that I enjoy.

I think Madonna is an amazing inspiration to all women over 40, her lifesteyle at 48 beats sitting in the rocker knitting. she is a legend.

Well when I think back to what my mother looked like at Madonna;s age, my mum looked like an old lady, Madonna is fantastic for her age, her dancing and exercising will erase early problems of old age setting in, and oesteoporoses which efects so many women over 50. Too many women grow old too quickly, she gives us oldies inspiration, I am 59 and pretty fit,if you compare her to some women much younger who look so much older than their years, why condemn someone who keeps themselves fit and looking good, and she will live longer for it.

Depends whether you think she still looks good I guess. I don't.
