Don't start that old debate again. Who just got the new super casino? Who hosted the Commonwealth Games in 2002?

The best things are free tho, couldnt give a stuff about the casino, give it to Blackpool dammit, they want it more than us.

Do you know Gasman, the same thought ocoured to me...............do you just answer the question that most appeals to you?

I haven't decided which question to answer, and then when I do, I've got to figure out if I'll answer yes or no, well actually tick or no tick to be precice.

Yikes this is too heavy.

we don't have the snow here yet but I think its on the way. I have a big job on Saturday which is involving me going from here to Aberdeen, to Edinburgh, back to Aberdeen and then back here again.

If the roads are bad, its going to be a loooong day!

I was speaking to people in our office in Cumbernauld (which I believe is near Glasgow) and they were disappointed with no snow. Scotland has snow most of the time anyway.

yup.

Its either snowing or drizzling. You know, that fine rain that soaks right through? The midgies like it!

My sig shows the weather I dream of. (And a rather barren hill.)

Scotch?
is that not a drink?

What is the definition of "Skitter". I would use it as an excuse to get off work. "I have the skitters".

Whats your accent like Foot Loose? Have you got a lovely gorgeous sexy accent like Sean Biggerstaff or are you more in the Rab C Nesbitt mould? I can imagine Sean Biggerstaff saying "skitters", and it makes my toes curl - however Rab C Nesbitt saying it would make my skin crawl.

And yes, I know scotch is a drink, I was trying to wind you up. Unsuccesfully, but this I predicted. And my favourite is Springbank single malt, thank you.

Em, who's Sean Biggerstaff? ... research leads me to belive that he is an actor in the Harry Potter films? (Which is weird coz I started reading the HP books last night!)

Yudster wrote:I can imagine Sean Biggerstaff saying "skitters", and it makes my toes curl

in that case, I sound like him ;)

I don't sound like Rab C.

Sean Biggerstaff (really silly name) played Oliver Wood in the first two Harry Potter movies. I'm too old to say he is cute without being accused of all sorts of unsavoury things, but his voice is really lovely, and that is ageless! He is from Glasgow.

From what I remember, its another word for the runs, and can also mean the movement of something (i.e It skittered across the floor)

The runs? The trotts? The John Inman walk? Bum wee? The ability to sh*t through the eye of a needle? Anal detonation? Pebble dashing the bog? There are many descriptions of said affliction.
