Watch out for Stephen Merchant in the first 6 minutes of the first episode; it's a kind of blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment.

I thought so! God damn it I shouldn't have doubted myself.

I watched the full 4 episodes and first 10 minutes of episode 5 I couldnt want so long. So good I can't wait!

Well I watched the first 2 episodes last night and it's great to have 24 back. The pace of the whole show is the first thing i noticed, especially as i've been watching LOST most recently which can slow to crawling pace.

Roll on the next 2 this evening.

So how do you like 24 so far? I must admit that i've seen first 5 episodes already and... well... its good as always but i didn't like that whole (must check the spelling of that word) sacrifice (?) of Jack to save the country and stuff. The rest is great. :)
What do you think ?

I wouldn't know at the moment what with me not having started watching them as of yet. I've got the first 6 episodes at home and was going to begin tonight.

I've been very much looking forward to it, and have been wondering under what circumstances Jack might return to the scene....... but I guess after reading Rychu's last post I now know.

Thanks Rychu.

To be fair though, the 'sacrafice' was mentioned in pretty much all the trailers for it this year; hell, this seasons tagline is 'For America to survive, Jack Bauer must die'.

Yeah, it's been quite good so far. I didn't expect to see the thing that happened at the end of episode 4, not that early on in a season anyway.

OOOO Yes :) I really look forward to next episodes. Does anyone know how sky will show the episodes. What i mean is how long will i have to wait for new episodes coz right now they are showing two episodes at a time but will i have to wait for next half a month to see new ones or how it works?

The first three weeks (starting on Sunday 21st) will be double bills and after that it will be single episodes as normal. I think this works out as only six days behind the American broadcasts.

Yep, that'd be right.

The thing that happened at the end of episode 4 was a shock, but episode 5 just started a big think about back story of certain characters.

Yep. Great. And its the first time im gonna experience 24 like this. You know all that ads on tv teasers Normaly i just get them on disks and thats it.
Btw I spoke to my mate and he said: "f!@^ it Ill wait till its out on dvd or online hate the ads every 10 minutes + i just cant wait for another episode for a week."
I kinda enjoy this whole waithing thing (not the ads during the show)
How do you guys rather watch it: TV or Divix (dvd) ?

Fox have started putting the latest the episodes online to watch (to compete with all these other websites). It only works for folks in America, but a little bit of proxy work and you can watch it.

Episode 8...
The scene involving the dril...

Not very nice.

For those who haven't watched episode 8 (myself included) don't read the above post.

David, please no spoilers, that's just not cricket.

Where is there a spoiler?

At the end of episode 7 there is no cliff hanger involving a Bosch cordless drill.

the Drill clue doesn't give away any story line plot what so ever. I didnt say what the drill was doing, or who was using it... As a 24 fan I'm not stupid enough to give away spoilers.
