the old people are scared of them self service tills

The definitely are. I work them every now and again and if there are queues at the 10 items or less, I have to invite them to use self service tills, and most of them either give me funny looks or have a go at me, usually the latter

The one in our Tesco does. You just put the money in, you don't actually need to select 'pay with cash'.

They still have someone checking everything you put in through the till, they trust no one!

Yeah but I mean would you? It's not as though they only get honest people coming into the store, is it? Apparently Tesco have enough stock nicked every year to fill two of their Extra stores or something like that.
