No abuse was meant. Apologies if offense was taken.
I'll rephrase:
"That comment sounds a bit cynical Bfb."

He's not stupid you know.
Your right, I do think he uses his position in the media as best he can and I completly agree with him doing so - I would do the same. I was pretty impressed by how much he makes from the jingles and it was well done keeping that quiet for as long as he did!
In this instance, however, I don't think that he will gain a lot from it. I'm not sure how much the artist ends up getting from the record sales, but do you think its going to be a significant amount? Even if it is, I can't see how he would stand to benifit from it. I doubt he is allowed to make a deal with a record company which would mean he could heavily plug a record and then make money that way?
I also doubt Moyles would take a cut of the sales from Billie.
With regards to the rest of the teams choices, I don't think they put in as much thought as Chris did. Like it or not, I have found myself singing the song several hours after I last heard the show.*

Unfortunatly my dog is in her 80's, in a wheelchair and smokes like a chimney. As much as I love her to bits, she would be easily eaten by a kitten. (plus kittens have incredibly sharp claws!)
*This in no way retracts from my support for Kenny Loggins - Footloose, which is a spectacular song!
