The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I have to say I like it, my alarm goes off just in time to hear the end on the sport and so it's normally the first thing I hear and it is great to wake up to...well it's the only thing so far that actually makes me go from fast asleep to wide awake in seconds but the way it starts out very peaceful is perfect for that time of morning.

Just wish I could stop singing it in my head, it's really annoying.

I love the beginning song and like the fact it plays dead on 7 every day. Great way to wake up as i wake up at 7 singing

Were the lyrics this morning different to the song? I like my "From Scotland down to England" bit, and it wasn't there

Yes, both verses were different this morning.

I think the first couple of versus have chaged two or three times this week, thought I was going mad for a moment until Foot Loose spotted it.

It's definately a grower though, and as Louis would say "I Like it"

Maybe when Chris says it was a different version - that might have given something away...

Sorry to be sarcastic... I can't resist

That's ok, it's just that I don't listen to all of the show, as I beleive is very common, 15 minutes being the average, so If something was said to clarify this, and you could have assumed this, then your comment could have be construed as helpful, rather than your chosen tak of sarcasm, sorry to be condesending, ...... I can't resist

The a bab ab fellow has a point boboff, chris did say this roughly 3 mins after the end of the song. I was, at the time, too busy realising that I was now late coz I had switched the computer on and asking inane questions on a message board. Therefore, I am exempt from your sarcasm as I basically wasn't listening.

After further thought, this song idea makes sense from Chris' point of view - with the show not starting till 0700 and the song lasting about 3 odd minutes, he doesn't have to speak until 0703. How many times did we hear him on the phone in his car at the 0655 start only to appear in the studio by the other side of the news?

Plus he gets his PRS from it so its win win really.

That's nothing. Scott Mills often fills his first 10 minutes with music.

True. Im not the most religious listener to Scotts' show, but is he often rolling into the studio after the show has started?

**logged in** What a kerfuffle.

Right.

I've a theory, remember at 6:55 Chris played the TVAM Good Morning Britain tune? Quite catchy brought back memories and people wanted to download it afterwards, well, maybe thats where he draws his inspiration from, he wants people to set their alarm clocks by his show and sing along first thing, its very orderly, and touching even, a much calmer intro, it must be like having your ears syringed if you've just had to endure JK and Joel, sound as the blokes are I think we'd heard enough from them since they took over the early brekkie slot.
