Best presents: some guitar books (1 from my parents and 2 from my wonderful boyfriend), Moyles' book which I am currently reading, some CDs I asked for and a Doctor Who calendar.

Worst presents: too much chocolate. I have eaten most of it and will have to spend the next few months in the gym burning it all off. Oh and WHSmith vouchers, because I usually end up buying things like batteries and paper with them because they sell nothing interesting.

Best = Laptop or rather partly owned laptop (£250 me, £150 mother)

Worst = Binoculars from my uncle, I by the way am not a peeping tom nor a bird watcher, to be honest it was probably his new 'lady friend' who chose them, she is an utter cow though

best present: Lost Series 1 and 2 boxset which hasnt actually arrived yet despite hmv.co.uk saying it would arrive by christmas day. The lesson here is never trust having a christmas day gift to a website. I got the adam and joe dvd as well which is kick-ass.

worst present: little britain series 1, 2 and 3 (i just dont find it that funny)

is it not just me that appreciates getting new pairs of pants and socks more than getting mediocre dvd's from relatives that dont really know what you like?

Do guinea pigs like wearing clothes?

that picture looks like guinea pig bondage

surely that would just be http://www.guineapigbondage.com then?

wrongness.

my guinea pig doesn't like clothes nor leashes, so she's definitely not into bondage. the clothes are cute, but i think i'll suffer heavy damage trying to put them on her.

Ok sorry. I take your point.
Unfortunately, though, it's a bit late for me to ask Saddam!

They live in hay which is not good when you have hayfever. It becomes a year long problem instead of a few months in the summer!

You could use shredded paper for the horses if the hay gives you - or them - a problem, but when I tried it I discovered it was the horses I was allergic to, not the hay! What the hell, its what antihisthamines are for.

they dont like to eat shredded paper.. give them any thing else and they would try it.. and i only get problems from a certain hay we get in the summer but i jus put up with it. do you have horses yudster?

they eat hay and have straw beds. if any horse were on hay beds it would become too fat.. just like my mare (exept shes just fat in general)

Thankfully mine were outside most of the time, so they never had much opportunity to get fat in a stable! They were a lot of work even so, so I sold mine when I moved to London millions of years ago. I have since moved back, and they are still local, so I still get to see them, which is nice. But I don't want to have any more!

aww.. i dont actually own mine.. a firend put me in contcat with a girl in the village who needed help with her 2 horses so i started going down and helping with the jobs and in return i get to ride her gorgeous mare. this was just over 2 years ago.. ive now been told i can ride when ever i like as the owner cant (shes pregnant) but recently i havent been down due to xmas & exams. but im hopefully going down to the stables next week (fingers crossed).

at least you still see them! how many did you have? i was reading some random leaflet/book yesterday at work and saw a pic of a pony i used to ride years & years ago.. it bought back lots of memories (especially of the injuries it gave me :?) but this pony used to be owned by people who owned a local pub.. and in the picture the pony is standing at the bar with the owner. apparantly it used to come in to the pub in the winter evenings and lie by the fire with the shooters dogs.

I had a lovely Welsh Cob(ish) gelding and its companion pony, a little coloured shetland/Welsh Mountain Pony cross. They belong to friends in the next village now, and my little boy gets to ride the pony, which is brilliant. Oh, there's a donkey called Doris too - but nobody is quite sure who she belongs to, she is just part of the package!

donkeys scare me! we've got a gorgeous thoroghbred x trakkena (if thats how you spell it :?) mare and a pure thoroghbred gelding who used to be the 2nd best flat racer in the hexam area, he came 2nd to one of the grand national runners a few years ago but he got retired due to a tendon injury. they're both alot of fun but cause alot of trouble at the same time. i would love a cob but they can be alot of hard work.. my friend has one and is close to selling it as it is too much hard work. as for shetlands.. i have a LOT of experience with them.. i used to have lessons down the road from mine, i remember being 10 and being put on a 16h horse who was an amazing jumper, and my sister being on a 13h evil shetland.. by the end of the lesson we had swapped as she couldnt manage to keep her in a straight line.. neither could i.. she was pure evil.
