so we've had the best / worst xmas presents so now for the next bit : what have been your worst / best parts of 2006?

for me: worst- a really close family friend being horifically killed in feb when a lorry slammed into the back of her car with herself, her mother and thier two dogs inside. Zoe & one of the dogs were the only ones take from us. then, her killer only being sentenced 3 years (or something rediculous like that) R.I.P. Zoe!!!

best: my gorgeous boyfriend & i finally becoming official after 3 months of messing around its now been 6 months & i love him to bits

I can honestly say that I think 2006 has been the hardest years of my life in emotional terms. I think I am a better person for it now though.

I've lived the student dream - ie drunk loads of beer and slept lots for a full calender year now, so more of the same next year I hope.

I don't want to jinx it cos 2006 isn't over yet but I think this has been the best year of my life. I've made some really amazing friends, got much closer too my old friends, finally appreciated the amazingness of my family, listened to new music, watched new films, and read lots of new stuff that really has changed my life (stilton anyone?!). I've laughed hysterically until my stomach hurt, danced like a loon and had more action than I've ever had before in my life. I've seen that the worries that I had a couple of years a go are completely RIDICULOUS and now my only worry is that things are going to go wrong for me cos it's been so amazing for too long now. Next year is going to be great too I'm sure

I don't even want to think about this. I hate new years eve, and this is the worst one I can remember. I can't look back on anything in the last 12 months with real pleasure, and I can't think of anything to hope for from the next 12. I'm really very unhappy.

2006 has been allright. i can't think of anything too good or bad. i'm in gradschool. i got a guinea pig. my job's allright and i (to be annoying) i think my boyfriend and i are doing better than ever.

my relationship with my family has been a bit crap, but oh well... the guinea pig makes up for it.

yup, the guinea pig definatley make up for it.. its very cute! i would steal it but 1) i have no idea where you live and 2) i dont generally like small furry things.. oh well
i've also had a crap relationship with my family.. right now im sitting in my room by myself.. my mum is downstairs not tlaking and my dad his probably doing the same.. oh to be 15 years old

Worst - starting out the year on anti-depressants due to stress of work, family problems, break up with long term b/f
Best - ending the year off anti-depressants, no family problems and found a new lovely b/f
