What was the deal there?
I missed how they actually discovered his real name, or did they not say?

I may take on the name Jacob Thermodor. It's better than Hannah. And the guy was a welder as well. What do welders do in their spare time?

The voice sounded really familiar whe they phoned him up. I was convinced it was someone famous on the wind up.

Didn't they change the actor on that? How did they explain that one?

Something to do with him losing his body while gambling on his home planet. Very very poor.

George/Thermoman was introduced to Ultronian poker by Arnie and loses his body parts, leaving only his soul which looks remarkably like a tea bag, so much so that Tyler accidentally brews up with it. A temporary body is sent, played by James Dreyfus. The character's personality change is explained by the sugar put in the George's-soul-tea making him hyperactive.

Better than "oh, he transmogrifies every now and again" IMO.

Good point there, I never thought of that, keeping it real in a program about a superhero is important I feel

He played a straight guy in The Thin Blue Line though and was as camp as a row of christmasy tents in that too.
