The album was last year, and that track was released last year too, but didn't do very well.

Along came Planet Earth and then suddenly it became popular.

Personally I can't stand The Feeling. I think this year has not been great for music. Too many 80's song remasterd with dance music backing, too many "twee" artists, (eg: Lilly Allen, The Feeling, KT Tunstell, Orson, Paulo Nutini, James Morrison), too much absolute kack (Shakira..... full stop) and way too much hype on the Arctic Monkeys.

Let's just hope 2007 is better.

Push the Botton from Sugar Babes, and that Burt Reynolds( not Burt I know but can'tthink) Brawn or Tripe I think it was, track Chris played ( which I bought but it ended up broken in the stairwell of my car ) and Nislopi Digger Song don't get a mention from MC.

If I had to go for a band this year, it would be Kasabian. Empire is good, and very different from the first album.

I quite like some of the tracks on the Fratellis album, but I liked them a lot better in the eighties when they were done by the bands who The Fratellis have copied. Itds so derivative I could hardly believe it.

Fall Out Boy - Sugar We're Going Down is this year as well. It has to be one of the big tunes for me, despite being emo.

I make a playlist of all the music I have enjoyed each month, so it is easy to remember what is from when.
